Pacific Ocean View, looking west, Costa Rica
This photo above was taken looking west from our Treehouse living-room, towards the warm, blue Pacific ocean, from our mountainside, 250-acre, forest preserve home in Costa Rica.
On a separate but related item, Jeanne and I have, just over on the next mountain and in the same dry deciduous 250-acre eco-forest, a lovely Mountainside, Ocean-view LOT FOR SALE. It is fully serviced with electricity, water and road.
This 2-acre lot (#13) which we own is quite likely one of the very best available for sale in the entire forest and nature preserve called Pura Jungla where we enjoy life at our unique Treehouse.
Since we already happily have our Treehouse home over on lot #17, we do not need this second property which we had purchased initially, planning to build on it. The Treehouse became available for sale and so we purchased that rather than build on our now for sale lot 13.
The location of this property being offered is approximately a 65 minute drive over good, paved roads from the globally accessible international airport in Liberia, Costa Rica. It is very near the small village of Paraiso in the Province of Guanacaste – Paraiso is the Spanish word for Paradise. Another small village nearby is called Playa Negra – the beach there is rated as one of the top surfing spots on the planet.
The warm, blue Pacific Ocean is about 3 kilometers away with easy access to several spectacular beaches. A forward-thinking law in Costa Rica ensures that all beaches there are accessible to all – both locals and visitors. Surfing, horseback riding, hiking, zip-lining, snorkeling, fishing and bird-watching are but a few of the activities available.
Several small, quaint, international restaurants are located close by.
This mountaintop property is at road end for added privacy. It looks out 270 degrees over forested valleys, mountains and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. The ocean is about a 10 minute drive away.
We like that in our area there is no traffic, nor high-rises or fast-food chains – the area is rural and uncrowded.
An additional enticement that we can offer the purchaser are the architectural drawings for our Treehouse, if that is a style of home you might want to build. Jeanne and I know this area well and can share our contacts and the knowledge that we have accumulated over the past 15 years.
